Charles (Chuck) Vinson has nearly 40 years of award-winning architectural experience. His work has been exhibited at the University of Virginia, the National Building Museum in Washington, DC, Clemson University, and the Arboretum in Alexandria, VA. Chuck has been with SKB for 23 years, leading the design of churches, schools, libraries, associations, corporations, convention centers, retail sites, and furniture showrooms. He joined SKB in 1992 and started out as a project manager for a number of major corporations, law firms, and associations.

Chuck’s understanding of architectural design and detailing is unparalleled. He has the ability to look at a wide variety of project types and develop solutions that respond to the essence of the design problem. While his greatest strength lies in the area of architectural design and detailing, his attention to all aspects of the design, from the initial space plan, to the building systems, to materials and finishes, has resulted in well designed and efficiently run projects that have served our client’s interest to the fullest.
